About me

Thank you for visiting. I created a website called Heal-Autism in March 2014. In March 2015 I decided to rename the website to Greener Path to Health. I realized that all the protocols and other information I had learned over the years are not only helping my son to recover but also allowing me and my family to heal as well. The topics covered in this website can help almost anyone improve their health, no matter the ailment.

I have a B.S in Finance and Management from Virginia Tech and an MBA in Marketing from UNC, Chapel Hill. I grew up in the suburbs of Washington D.C. where I was fairly conservative and did not know anything about holistic healing or medicine. Since my teens I felt a pull to head west, to California, it just seemed like this was the place for me.

My journey really started in the year 2000, when I decided to move to San Diego, CA . It was in California that I began to learn about alternative healing. I got into yoga, acupuncture and even enrolled in massage school with the dream of opening my own holistic center focused on yoga, nutrition, massage and acupuncture.

I was not able to open my holistic center as my husband’s job moved us around too much. In March 2010 my first born son was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 2 1/2 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I had long suspected something was amiss but was too afraid of what it could be.

I had the great fortune of meeting Marissa Ali, DragonSlayer of The Thinking Mom’s Revolution, in Kuala Lumpur where she had been leading a group of biomedical moms intent on recovering their children from Autism. Marissa had already recovered her two daughters so I KNEW that I had hope of recovery as well.

I started with the gluten-free/casein-free diet and ABA. Overtime I became more drawn to energetic modalities and they have worked well for him. I did not do an initial Autism Treatment Evaluation Checklist (ATEC)* but I suspect it was a bit north of 100. Today, his ATEC is in the teens. He is so close to recovery I can taste it. While most of the modalities are ones that have worked best with my son, I have not tried them all. I have, however, researched all the treatments.

It has been quite a journey researching and learning all the different ways to detoxify my life and heal my family.

*An ATEC under 10 is considered not having autism

The higher the ATEC, the greater the severity
